Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading manufacturing company who are looking for a Mechanical CAD Engineer. The company design and manufacture a market leading and diverse range of products, which are technical in nature and require complex manufacturing using a wide variety of materials.This role will be a crucial part of the team, working across a wide variety of products and technical developments, producing technical MCAD drawings.The Mechanical CAD Engineer will be responsible for:- Developing concept models into full Mechanical CAD models for manufacturing - Developing surface datasets into full manufacturing models- Preparing 3D CAD data sets for simulation- Developing tooling for formed and moulded parts- Working with the CAD team to continuously improve CAD systems and modellingThe Mechanical CAD Engineer will need:- A mechanical design background in a product development, engineering or manufacturing environment- A strong background and expertise in 3D CAD systems - in particular technical mechanical applications- An understanding of manufacturing, ideally vacuum forming and moulding- The ability to work as part of wider engineering development teamElevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist division within Elevation Recruitment Group; Specialising in the recruitment of Senior Projects; Design; Engineering positions Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.For more information on this role please call Tim Rudkin.Please visit our website for more information on:- Design Engineer Jobs or Project Engineering- Engineering Jobs or Engineering Recruitment- Manufacturing Jobs or Manufacturing Recruitment
