Job Description

Location: Hull areaSalary: £70,000-£75,000 plus packageSummary:A Logistics Director is required to join a well established business to oversee supply chain and operational functions and personnel. You must have a range of industry experience in FMCG non food including retail & B2B. Prior experience of managing largehigh number of SKUs. Highly analytical, with strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills is a must.Key Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a strong and engaging people manager who can drive a team and deliver a clear operational plan, helping them to understand the bigger picture as well as the business objectives.
  • Ensure customers orders are fulfilled in an accurate and timely manner through effective management of the warehousing and distribution operations.
  • Provide strategic leadership and general management to the Distribution Centre with full P&L responsibility.
  • Team building and development through effective succession planning.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Must have proven experience sourcing 3PLs and managing the relationship with their 3rd party logistics provider and ensuring that the efficiency and quality and cost of the logistics function balances operational excellence with the highest levels of effectiveness- delivering quality for customers and consumers every time.
  • We will expect candidates to have extensive Logistics Management experience within a multi-channel environment.
  • Must have experience of managing multi sites.
  • You will have managed 100+ in your team
