Job Description

Tradewind Hull are working with one of our fantastic partnership establishments in Hull, who are looking for a lecturer in Travel and Tourism on an interim basis. This is a part time position based on 14.5 hours per week, across three days. Your workingdays will be Monday (half day), Tuesday (full day) and Wednesday (full day Payment for this position will be between £20 and £26.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. All duties associated with a lecturing role will be expected for thisrole.Your duties will include:

  • Delving teaching and learning across a number of course associated with Travel and Tourism
  • Planning, preparing and delivering online materials and lessons
  • Assessing student work and updating this onto data systems
  • Liaising with staff members to produce the highest quality resources
  • Assisting with practical courses
  • Complying with health and safety procedures

  • A Level 3 in Travel and Tourism/a relevant similar qualification
  • A PGCE/Cert ED (or the desire to work towards this)
  • Experience teaching this subject or similar subjects
  • Experience working in a Further education or Higher Education setting
  • A GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
Essential requirements:
  • All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service, and collection of at least two verified references.
