Job Description

Vacancy: Secondary School Learning MentorJob start: April 2024Salary: £80-£90 per dayLocation: HullContract type/Hours: up to 25 hours p/w term time onlyProspero Teaching are seeking to appoint a dedicated and dynamic Learning Mentor to join a growing team at a Secondary School in Hull. The post holder will play a pivotal role in supporting learners, aiding in their academic and holistic development. Acting as botha mentor and a role model, you will implement strategies to enhance aspirations and academic achievement, and guide students towards higher education and future success.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Minimum rate of pay £80
  • Hours - 8:15 am - 3.30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Recent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Recent experience working in a pastoral capacity
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided)
  • Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
