Junior L&D Consultant (Permanent, Full Time)Competitive Salary plus excellent benefits Location - Hull, Carr Lane (Currently Remote)Business Area - Retail Closing Date - 30th September 2021What will I be doingYou will be responsible for the analysis, design, delivery and management of learning and development solutions for our Retail business, with a particular focus on customer facing roles.Your key accountabilities will include the following;Learning material: Carrying out skills gap analysis to identify learning needs and subsequently developing and delivering learning content utilising the most effective and efficient methodology.Delivery of learning and development solutions:Creating and implementing an effective learning delivery plan by liaising with the relevant people to ensure that the plan supports the customer experience. Tracking development aligned to development plans and attendance of training using the corporateLearning Management System.Learning evaluation and change:Reviewing customer experience metrics and training needs analysis to identify opportunities or gaps that could be addressed through learning interventions and evaluating the effectiveness of the learning using the Kirkpatrick learning evaluation model.Performance support:Coaching individuals in line with learning solutions provided and collaborating across customer experience teams to establish an ongoing learning plan and programme of learning activity.Stakeholder management:Creating regular updates and reports on learning solutions implemented and its effectiveness. Collaborating with the group Learning & Development team to ensure consistency and alignment with wider group initiatives.What do I need to do this jobTo be successful you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to translate how any learning solutions being proposed will result in operational benefits that the wider teams can understand and piece together.Your experience to date will include; working across the learning ADDIE model; analysing learning needs; creating and implementing effective learning solutions and evaluating the effectiveness as such. You will also need the ability to handle conflictingdemands in order to prioritise your workload.You will have excellent presentation skills and exceptional stakeholder management skills, dealing with internal management and external partners.Whilst you will report directly to the Retail Function, you will work closely with the group L&D function and will have their support to develop yourself as a true L&D professional for your own personal development needs.What you will get from KCOMWe are as passionate about our people as we are about our customers.
