The Port of Hull is being established as a world-class centre for renewable energy and manufacturing, and at AAK we feel proud to be part of this important industrialrenaissance for Yorkshire and the UK.At our recently upgraded site at King George Dock we operate the UKs largest refinery for edible oils and fats. We supply businesses in the sectors of food manufacturing, baking, Foodservice and retail, and we work closely with customers to co-develop bespokeproducts.About the roleAAK is seeking to appoint a Junior Account Executive to work as part of the UK & Ireland Foodservice team. The successful candidate will report to the Head of National Accounts and will play an important role in creating customer value through implementationof oil management programmes across the leading operators as well as account management with all operators. You will be responsible for managing small end user accounts, delivering value to these customers and achieving results through effective sales managementand Go To Market sales strategies. This role is home based but extensive travel around the country with regular visits to site Hull will be expected.Responsibilities

  • Develop our oil management programme into a simple, easy to manage process that works for the customer.
  • Maintaining margin across operator contracts
  • Work with Customer Innovation / Technical teams to develop oil management solutions that work for the customer.
  • Identify possible new business opportunities
  • Manage all operators within your area
  • Responsible for all oil management projects & profitability for oil management equipment we sell
  • Account management for smaller accounts
About youThe successful candidate will have the following skills and experience: -
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills; effective communicator across all levels of the organisation
  • Good numeracy skills to effectively present figures to customers
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and gain an understanding of the Foodservice market
  • Team Player
  • Flexibility to travel to and from customer base so a drivers licence is essential.
