Job Description

The role of the IT Infrastructure Engineer is pivotal in supporting and managing the technology infrastructure within our Manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be confident with Hyper V, VmWare, and Active Directory.Client DetailsOur client is a leading firm within the Manufacturing industry, employing over 1000 employees. They have a have a strong presence and reputation in the sector, being renowned for their quality products and commitment to sustainability.Description

  • Manage and maintain the companys IT infrastructure.
  • Utilise Hyper V and VmWare to support virtualisation efforts.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory issues.
  • Provide technical support to team members and troubleshoot IT issues.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
  • Work with the IT team to strategise and implement infrastructure improvements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand and support their IT needs.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the companys data and IT systems.
ProfileA successful IT Infrastructure Engineer should have:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Expertise in Hyper V, VmWare, and Active Directory.
  • A strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
Job Offer
  • A competitive salary of between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
