Consortium are looking recruit an International Cargo Coordinator on behalf of our valued client. Joining their busy operations team in Hull, you will be responsible for the coordination of containers, once they have reached their destination port.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:* Creating documentation to ensure cargo can be unloaded in a timely manner* Regularly liaise with stakeholders, to ensure all parties are up to date with the process, reporting any delays or risks to the Operations Manager* Keep all records up to date, ensuring data on the system is accurate* Monitor costs and charges as well as keep on top of payments to prevent delays in the port.Previous experience within shipping would be beneficial, however non-experienced candidates with good skills in the following may also apply:* Excellent communication * Attentional to detail* Proactive approach with ability to work under pressure* Strong IT skills and ability to input dataThe role is paying to to £30,000 DOE and offers an enhanced holiday and benefits package.
