Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a UK entity of a global FTSE100 Business to recruit a UK Finance Manager to cover a 14 month period of maternity.Reporting to the EU Head of Finance, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a range of responsibilities and offer support as a no.2. For candidates with strong management experience you will be responsible for 3 direct reports along with duties including financial accounting, budgeting and forecasting, adhoc analysis and a range of projects. The team are responsible for monthly reporting, however this is a very fluid position and so would suit someone who enjoys variety and who is happy to take a hands on approach to support the team from a technical point of view, knowledgeably deal with queries from the UK business, provide adhoc analysis to a range of stakeholders and lead on projects.The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with significant Financial Accounting experience, along with demonstrable management skills and a collaborative approach to work. With offices based near Hull, like most of the UK, the finance team are currently all working from home at present, however it is anticipated that this will change over the 14 month period and you will be expected to be in the office more frequently.
