ICT/Technology Support TechnicianSalary: £28,000-32,000Location: HullOur client is seeking an IT support technician to join the team based in Hull. This role will require a high level of detail and confidence in IT abilities. A passion to progress and learn new skills will make for a successful candidate. THE ROLE: The role includes but is not limited to:- Work in a large team of IT specialists providing support to the company. - You will be required to keep on top of stock and coordinate new equipment being ordered and set up.- Setting up work phones, computers, updates, and installations - Providing IT support to remote sites across Yorkshire and on occasion reaching out to construction sites - Provide customer support and troubleshoot any issues. - Assisting with the ongoing management of the tech teams data base - Assisting with the internal training of IT equipment and systems knowledge- Supporting the team with equipment repairs and solutions THE CANDIDATE:The successful candidate needs to:- Hold a full clean driving license. - Previous experience in a tech support role at all levels - Knowledge of IT systems from an onsite and remote point - Strong problem solving and time management skills.- Excellent communication and ability to adapt to new environments quickly - Confidence in Microsoft applications THE BENEFITS:- Up to 20% annual bonus - 25 days holiday rising each year until reaching the maximum of 28 - Staff discount - Technology scheme THE CONSULTANCY:Edwards & Pearce acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
