Job Description

HR / Recruitment Administrator, Hull (Melton, HU14 3HJ) salary circa £21,500 plusbenefits including pension, 30 days holiday (plus option to purchase additional days), staff discount across Heron Foods and B&M.As part of the B&M retail group (£2.3bn), Heron Foods is one of the UKs fastest growing food retailers with over 300 stores. In 2023 we aim to open a further 20 stores together with a busy refit program. We are really going places and to continue in ourprogression we need the right people to help us to build on our success.As the HR / Recruitment Administrator you will be responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition team who recruit for all areas of the business; retail, warehouse & transport and the store support centre.Typical tasks for the HR / Recruitment Administrator will be as follows:-

  • Reviewing and shortlisting job applicants
  • Forwarding shortlisted CVs to our retail stores
  • Speaking with candidates over the phone and going through job details, shortlisting and booking interviews
  • Posting job adverts online
  • Producing the Internal Vacancies Bulletin
  • Responding to phone calls from stores and members of the public and responding to queries
The successful HR / Recruitment Administrator will ideally have the following:-
  • An outgoing personality who can communicate confidently
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy and to manage confidential details in a professional manner
  • A flexible approach and a can do attitude
  • You must be able to travel to site preferably with your own transport as public transport access is limited.
