Job Description

HR ManagerHullUp to £45,000 Chase & Holland are delighted to be working with a well-established, family-owned Hull based client who are currently looking for a dedicated, experienced and knowledgeable HR Manager to join them. This is a great opportunity to join a successful SME business working closely with the senior management throughout and managing all aspects of HR and Payroll.Package & Benefits:

HR Manager Responsibilities:
  • Organising all company, management and H&S training as required
  • Supporting the CEO & CFO with HR advice on complex/sensitive ER issues
  • Ensuring compliance with all HR, H&S and other company policies and procedures
  • Supporting and coaching managers and employees with HR advice and guidance
  • Managing and processing of the whole payroll process and updating daily spreadsheet
  • Preparing data for annual review processes and preparing all documentation for managers
  • Carrying out the full recruitment process from start to finish, selecting most appropriate method of advertising, sifting of applicants, method for selection through to onboarding
  • Recording all overtime, banked hours and casual workers in readiness for payroll processing
  • Ensuring HR KPIs are up to date and reported to management on monthly basis
  • Performing other duties that reasonably correspond to the general requirements of the role
  • Supporting the CEO and CFO with solid HR advice on complex and sensitive ER issues, including any change management processes
  • Reviewing and updating the company employment handbook and policies to ensure best practice & compliance with employment legislation
  • Managing the T&A system, face recognition and holiday systems
Hours:Monday to Friday09:0017:30Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous management of small team (desirable)
  • Provide strong solutions focus with a resilient and hands on approach
  • Strong generalist HR, payroll, change management and ER experience
  • Up to date knowledge of employment legislation, payroll, furlough and HR
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all sites
