Reporting directly into the MD working as the HR Advisor in a stand-alone HR role across a long established and successful business looking to further expand in the FMCG sector.This is an exceptional opportunity to make this role your own, whist taking full responsibility for all things HR across the site!The role of the HR Advisor offers a clear career path to management and allows full HR involvement across all areas of the business, together with the chance to develop and implement the softer side of HR i.e. focusing on training, key values, culture, benefitswhilst also having responsibility for ER, Recruitment, implementation of policies and procedures and making sure that contracts/HR admin maintenance and GDPR is carried out correctly.Qualifications and Experience:CIPD level 5 is required.At least 2 years of operational HR generalist experience Must have experience of working in manufacturing (ideally FMCG sector)Strong background in ER (excellent employment law knowledge)Previously worked in a busy generalist HR role, having had responsibility for policies + procedure, disciplinaries + grievances, training, recruitment, management of HR admin, advising operational staff with all things HR, and been visible across a businessas the "go to person" in HR.An exceptional problem solver, ideas person with energy to drive positive changeExcellent in building credible and strong stakeholder relationships across the businessCommitted to implementing HR that will make a difference and have a positive impact on all their workforce as the business growsTHE COMPANY:A well-known and respected business with plans to expand THE CONSULTANCY:Edwards & Pearce acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
