RSR are looking for an experienced HOLMES Reader/Receiver to work on a full-time, long-term contract near Hull in Humberside.The role involves reading and assessing the content of all documentation that enters the Major Incident Room (MIR), ensuring it is dealt with in line with MIRSAP and policies identified by the Senior Investigation Officer (SIO). It involves quality assuringcompleted actions and providing tactical and strategic support by giving advice on legislation, policy, research and tactical options.Main Responsibilities: Assist the HOLMES Manager with the implementation and delivery of a HOLMES strategy for the investigations Be responsible for supervising a team, including their performance and development. To read and assess all statements, interviews and other documentation gathered and, direct actions to be taken Ensure that all lines of enquiry have been pursued to a satisfactory conclusion and that any intelligence gathered is properly indexed.The successful applicant will be familiar with the HOLMES system, and will have previously worked within a Major Investigation Team.Applicants are advised that if they are successful, they will be subject to national security checks.Therefore it ias advised that applicants have had no previous criminal convictions, and have resided in the UK for at least the last 3 years.If you wish to apply, or if you require any further information, please apply now.
