Job Description

We have a vacancy for a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant at Maister Lodge. Maister Lodge provides acute mental health care to people with dementia at a time in their illness when compassion, care and skill can achieve great benefit for patients and their families.Maister Lodge underwent major renovation works meaning that the environment is well suited for patients with dementia and this is an exciting time to be joining the existing team. We can offer excellent learning opportunities, support from the team at Maister and from other parts of the older people’s services.Maister Lodge won Team of the Year in 2018 and were shortlisted for the same award in 2019. We work hard to provide person-centred care which is sensitive and responsive to the individual and we are committed to continuous development. The Healthcare role will join our existing creative and committed team and we encourage applications from those with a natural flair and personal commitment to working with people who as a result of dementia require high levels of intensive support.
