Job Description

Our client, an established pharmaceutical business with a global presence are hiring for a new Responsible Person who will be named on their licence, working as a key part of their management team.We are looking to bring on board an experienced and seasoned Responsible Person, with strong GDP knowledge/experience - this is the perfect opportunity for an RP looking to have a real tangible and strategic input within a growing business. You will be accountablefor driving the culture of quality and compliance to the next level as the business continues to expand.Key Duties:

  • Assessing the suitability and competence of third-party contractors.
  • Validating key equipment/processes to ensure correct installation and operations.
  • Customer and Supplier Qualification and verification.
  • Reporting on deviations from process, perform RAs and implement CAPAs to continuously improve systems and processes.
  • Ensuring all activities are recorded clearly, accurately and concisely and that data integrity of these records is maintained.
  • Identifying and delivering company GDP training where required
The ideal candidate for the Responsible Person will have the following background:
  • Previously named as RP on an active WDA(H) licence.
  • Degree qualified in a relevant pharmaceutical or life science related subject.
  • Comprehensive experience of investigating complaints and deviations using previous experience and highly developed problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive experience of authoring and reviewing new and existing company procedures.
  • Experience of performing Internal and External Audits.
  • A team player, with excellent listening and communication skills who is able to provide feedback in a constructive and articulate manner, and capable of working unsupervised and alone.
