Financial AccountantHull - £40,000 - £45,000 & Exceptional Benefits Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a large, well established organisation in Hull who are a regional leader as well as having an exemplary track record for providing great service. Primarily the role involves preparation of the statutory accountsand overseeing the various internal and external audits that take place throughout the year. However, the role is varied and covers various aspects of the finance function including management accounts, finance business partner, manager of Purchase and SalesLedger teams, procurement.Key areas of responsibility will include: Completion of statutory financial statements for multiple cost centres and group consolidation Preparation of year end accounts Co-ordinating the annual external & internal audit and liaising with the auditors Managing, mentoring and developing the ledger teams Monthly review of balance sheet reconciliations to cover all balance sheet accounts, and subsequently challenge the balances with management accounts Control and maintenance of Group Fixed Asset register Finance Business Partner for various cost centres, includes monthly meetings with budget holders to discuss variances, potential risks and forecasts Assist with month end procedures, including variance analysis on the cost centres Influential role in driving positive change, developing group strategic plan and leading various projects The ideal candidate will be:
