Job Description

Financial AccountantHullCompetitive SalaryInitial 14 month contact Chase & Holland are excited to be working with large national distribution business who is looking for a Financial Accountant for an initial 14 month contact. Working as part of the team to produce the management reporting information. Reporting to the FinancialController, you will play a key part in helping drive the business forward. Package & Benefits:

Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile all customer accounts ready to be reviewed and for sign off by the Financial Controller
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns
  • Ensure month end duties are completed to deadline
  • Assist with the preparation of annual statutory reports
  • Maintain the multicurrency spreadsheets and reconcile to the relevant customer statement
  • Reconcile supplier accounts
Hours:Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:305:30 or 7:304:30Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience working within a similar role
  • Must be proficient in excel
  • Previous experience dealing with multi currency is beneficial
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to work off own initiative
