Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to oversee financial operations in our retail division and drive our companys financial strategy and planning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations, as wellas setting strategic goals for the future.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established retail company based in Hull. With a strong presence in the market, they employ over 500 people and are known for their commitment to innovation and quality in their products. Specialising in leisure supplies, they have asolid reputation for their exceptional customer service and strong focus on employee satisfaction.Description

  • Manage the companys financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Oversee, review, and adhere to the budgets for each business department
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
  • Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
  • Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
  • Develop plans for financial growth and analyse market trends to maximise profits
  • Supervise a team of accountants to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
Profile
  • Have completed AAT or be qualified by experience
  • Excellent organisation skills and a hands-on approach, with the ability to prioritise workload efficiently
  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the finance department
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong ethics, with a customer-oriented attitude
  • Outstanding communication skills
