Interim F P and A ManagerSalary: £45,000 - £50,000Benefits: Hybrid working on offerLocation: Hull Are you a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with availability to undertake a 9-12 month maternity leave contract Good business partnering and management accounting experience essential. Up to 2 days per week hybrid working on offer with this contract.THE ROLE: You will be supporting and challenging the business to control costs through robust accounting and forecasting, timely reporting and insightful analysis to help the business make sound decisions.Drive process improvement and simplification within Group FinanceAct as a business partner to senior stakeholders who manage functions within head office or operational areas, Complete month end accounts for the cost centres owned within this role (IT, Projects, Finance) and for certain balance sheet areas (fixed assets)Assist with the monthly financial reporting process to produce a consolidated Group P&L with variance analysisProvide financial analysis, support the forecasting and budgeting processSupport the external audit process, projects as and when requiredTHE CANDIDATE:A qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant you will have good experience of management accounting and business partnering combined with excellent analytical and investigative skills and the ability to communicate effectively right across a businessYou need to have availability for an asap start and able to commit for the duration of the contract, approx. 9 - 12 monthsTHE COMPANY:My client is a well-known, highly respected, privately owned company in Hull.THE BENEFITS:£45,000 - £50,000 pro rata for the duration of the contract Onsite parking Hybrid working options of up to 2 days per weekTHE CONSULTANCY:Edwards & Pearce acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
