Job Description

Are you looking for a flexible role with ad hoc hours Are you interested in working within an Education environment Exam Invigilators are needed in your area!Castle Education are looking to welcome new Exam Invigilators to our team who work to support the young people in our communities during exam seasons and sessions. We offer full training and support and in exchange you will get work to fit round your owncommitments and within the local schools in your area.The purpose of the role:Exam Invigilators will ensure examinations are conducted in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) awarding body and Academy instructions; to play a key role in upholding the integrity of the examination/assessment process; to implementpupils access arrangements by either prompting, reading and/or scribing for pupils during the examinations.The pay rate for this role will be £10.50 an hour and during exam weeks you can be earning up to £300 a week on a busy exam week.Qualifications and experience required:

  • English and Maths at a minimum of level 2/GCSE
  • A DBS which is registered to the update service (Castle can support you with this)
  • Transport is advantageous due to the locations of schools
