Job Description

    • To be considered for this role you will be required to have;
  • Minimum 8 years experience
  • CIOB or Degree in a construction discipline
  • Awareness of the contractual obligations within a project bid
  • Experience using ConQuest and AutoCAD
  • Sufficient Microsoft Word and Excel Skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Good attention to detail
    • The successful Estimator will be based in their relaxed open planned office in the heart of Hull the successful Estimator will be responsible for completing detailed tender submissions by set deadlines whilst ensuring the provision of lowest net cost estimates commiserating with risk. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to;
  • Ensuring an adequate spread of material/sub-contract prices
  • Comprehensive handover of estimate files
  • Use Mathematical equations to determine the quantity of material needed by calculating width, length, depth and density
  • Identification of commercial opportunity within the project
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Good attention to detail
