With international acclaim and funding, this clientis setting up for its next major stage of development and is looking for the right people to join the team and contribute to its success moving forwards.Main purposes of this job is to carry out regular maintenance checks on electrical equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly, and to run tests and inspections on prototype technology, feeding back to R&D to support development.Main duties· Wiring power panels following electrical schematics.· Wiring interfacing power cables and earthing to electrical cable schedules and loop drawings.· Prototype power panel test and installation up to 450A and 25kV· Isolation and de-isolation of supply circuits under LOTO and PTW up to 415V· Contribute to electrical design reviews lead by the lead Electrical Engineer· Undertaking snagging, testing, reporting and rectification of power systems· From time to time, visiting units in the field to conduct Electrical aspects of installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.Person Specification· Minimum HNC/HND in an electrical based subject.· Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience (Oil & Gas/Energy; Chemical/Petrochemical; FMCG)· Demonstrable experience of panel wiring and electrical tests.· Adaptability - agreed changes to functionality processes or workloads must be accommodated often at short notice.· Organised - able to work on multiple projects or functional areas simultaneously.· Ability to work at high level of independence.· Excellent communication and organisational skills· Team player and collaborative.· Capability to multi-task and work calmly in a logical and methodical manner.· Ability to work with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.· Problem Solving Skills - ability to analyse problems, break them down into smaller components and develop efficient solutions.· Strong Technical Knowledge· Time managementThe Package· Salary offer of £35k to £40k dependent on experience· Participation in a Share Scheme / Long Term Incentive Plan· 36 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)· Company pension scheme (5% employer 5% employee contribution· Employee Assistance ProgrammeAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
