This department is looking at the future and want to engage with passionate engineers who share their values.Development Engineer role & responsibilities:* Product development from concept to production.* System design and specifications generation* User interface design and testing* Testing and validating product throughout the product development cycle and after launch* Supporting troubleshooting during trial phases* Hardware and software bug reporting* Collaboration with projects teams and engaging with other engineering functions as required* Build understanding of the customer markets to improve development focus on best fit* Work closely with product management and marketing to fully understand the product/customer needs* Coaching and mentoring of junior team members This position is well suited to someone who:* Has a Degree in Engineering, Design or a related discipline* Has a keen interest in product development and gadgets* Experience of project management * A high level of intelligence with the capability to digest information rapidly* Demonstrates sound problem-solving abilities and ability to think outside the box* An outgoing and confident personality with the skills to build and maintain positive working relationships quickly* Possesses strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with colleagues from other departments* Solid and reliable team playing skills* Good organisation, time management and prioritisation skillsConsortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
