Job Description

Design & Technical Manager (Modular Construction)Hull£65,000 - £70,000 + 10% pension + up to 12.5% bonus + 25 days holiday + hybridDo you have hands on design, and any supervisory experience, with a background in Modular or Offsite construction, seeking a highly autonomous and pivotal role for a rapidly growing manufacturer, where you will benefit from a newly created role which youcan make your own, and an array of generous benefits and the opportunity to lead and develop a team around youAre you looking to join a market leading, ambitious organisation, which will offer a flexible and versatile role, where you will be fully autonomous, working on bespoke projects, for high profile clients across various sectors, as well as providing effectivemanagement of a highly skilled design teamOn offer is the opportunity to step into an integral role, with a highly regarded, award-winning company. You will lead the design and technical department as it continues to grow and expand. You will also be responsible for managing projects and clients,ensuring that cutting edge products are designed and built to client requirements.The role:

  • Manage the Rental team of designers, and CAD technicians for the efficient design of modular buildings
  • Communicate with client throughout the design and revision process, overseeing projects from conception to completion
  • Train and develop the team, as the company continues to grow
  • Coordinate outsourced designers and engineers
  • Continually improve design processes and procedures
  • Develop products in line with business needs
The person:
  • Design experience, either within Modular construction, or offsite construction
  • Management experience
