Elevation Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading manufacturing business based in Hull to recruit a Data Analyst on a 12 month fixed term basis.This role offers hybrid working, 4 days office, 1 day home.Reporting to the quality manager and forming part of the quality steering team, the successful Data Analyst will gather and scrutinize data using specialist tools to generate information that helps the business to make informed decisions and drive improvementsand provide insight and analysis through clear visual, written and verbal communication. This is a fantastic opportunity which will see the successful candidate set up processes and systems to make working with data more efficient and produce reports and chartscommunicating trends within data to non-specialists.Key Duties & Responsibilities:* Mine and analyse large datasets, draw valid inferences and present them successfully to management using a reporting tool* Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes* Set up and maintain automated data processes* Produce and track key performance indicators* Develop and support reporting processes* Monitor and audit data quality* Liaise with internal stakeholders to fully understand data content* Gather, understand and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques* Manipulate, analyse and interpret data sets relating to customer and internal quality metrics* Prepare reports for internal audiences using business analytics reporting tools* Create data dashboards, graphs and visualisations* Interrogate customer and internal quality data to establish trends and work with the quality, production and aftersales team to bring about improvement in product quality reducing faults reported by customers* Help identify and drive data analysis and reporting improvements across operations* Identify and leverage opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes and standards* Implement controls and compliance metrics to reduce data issues and improve data quality* Engage and partner with third party vendors, IT and other parties as requiredWe are keen to speak with highly analytical individuals who possess the following skills and experience:* Strong PowerBI or Qlik skills* Demonstrable experience of providing data and reporting in a fast-paced environment* Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver against deadlines* Strong IT skillsTo find out more about this opportunity contact us today!
