A multi service law firm are looking for a Conveyancing Fee Earner to join their team. Following the hiatus in conveyancing during the first lockdown they experienced a significant increase in the number of conveyancing instructions and that trend hascontinued. The department is therefore busy, but fee-earner work levels are carefully monitored to avoid anyone becoming overloaded. The Role* Ability to do title checks and raise enquires on purchase files.* Ability to deal with sale enquiries.* Experience dealing with Leasehold properties* Request Mortgage Funds for completions.* Drafting and reporting to clients.* Review Mortgage Offers and report and discrepancies to Lenders.* Requesting redemption figures from Lenders.* Ability to deal with exchanges and completions.The Candidate* A minimum of 2 years experience in a residential property role.* Ideally be qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or FILEX* Have experience handling a varied caseload of own files.* Have excellent attention to detail.* Can build strong client relationships and have great communication skills.* Possess excellent interpersonal skillsRemuneration & benefitsA competitive salary package will be offered a pleasant and fulfilling working environment within modern offices.How to get in touchFor a discussion in confidence about the above position or about general opportunities in the market then please get in touch with Ashleigh OHagan who is a Property Legal specialist at SJC Legal.
