We supply businesses in the sectors of food manufacturing, baking, foodservice and retail, and we work closely with customers to co-develop bespokeproducts.About the roleAAK are seeking to appoint a Condition Monitoring Engineer to join the Maintenance team at Site Hull. This is a Monday to Friday, days role and will report into the Reliability Engineer.The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and improving the processes for all lubrication and oil analysis on site.Responsibilities

  • Vibration analysis of key assets
  • Use and interpretation of thermography
  • Use and interpretation of ultrasound technologies
  • Management of 3rd party specialists when required
  • Provide expert knowledge and support on all lubrication and oil analysis activities and enquires on site, including liaising with vendors and contractors, as well as the appropriate maintenance and operations personnel.
  • Responsible for the mechanical modification of systems as directed to facilitate sampling and filtration, and other proactive improvements.
  • Responsible for analysing data and looking at improvement systems based off data reports.
  • Responsible for keeping the CMMS up to date with collected data.
About you
  • Time served apprenticeship in Engineering is essential
  • HND/Degree qualified in Engineering field would be desirable
  • Previous experience operating and managing condition monitoring, reliability programmes and asset management services, including, but not limited to, fundamental lubrication concepts, oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography and laser alignment.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment is desirable
  • Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills allowing effective discussion and transfer of information.
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages would be an advantage.
