Available Hours: Permanent - Part Time - 12.5 hoursWith an additional 5.5 hours fixed term until March 2023, with possibility of extension subject to funding.(Working days are Tuesday - Thursday)A great opportunity to work in your local community to support older people to increase social inclusion.We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in MHA Communities - Hull & East RidingYou will be required to travel around the district so a clean driving licence and access to a car is also required, as well as some experience of working on different digital platforms.Hull & East Riding Communities covers a large geographical area. On a Tuesday and Wednesday this role will be based in the Hedon area.The MHA Communities Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and running a programme of activities, the scope of which will vary depending upon local need.All activities will seek to reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness and promote the wellbeing of older people across a range of community settings.This programme could include any mix from MHAs core service offering - such as befriending, lunch clubs, social outings or clubs.
