Catering General Manager Contract Catering - B & I SectorHull - YorkshireMonday to Friday Salary up to £38,000 + bonusCareer progression within an established groupAre you looking for your next move to a market leading Contract CatererMy client is a specialist London caterer, dedicated to delivering the highest quality food and service to discerning business organisation.We are looking for a creative, energetic, ambitious General Manager for a Hull - Yorkshire based role with a clear progression path within the UK Leading Catering Company.Who are youYou will be an entrepreneurial and commercially focused manager with previous experience in Contract Catering environment with Staff Dining Service background.You will be passionate about standards, crazy about good food and able to manage demanding stakeholder relationships.Experienced in managing a fast-paced high-volume multi sites, with effective communication and people management skills.What youll be doing:* As the Catering Manager, you will oversee the smooth running of the day-to-day operations and lead the catering team, overseeing the services in the busy café & staff dining and Hospitality. Your role will be to set stretching targets and lead a team of 20staff to deliver a unique food & beverage experience to over 1000 people daily over 2 sites.* Remaining continually aware of the customer journey, pressure points and opportunities to observe, capture and act on client and customer feedback. You will proactively make suggestions to clients regarding innovation in food and food service to develop thebusiness, lead and support the Catering team.* Reviewing performance and optimising sales and profitability to ensure delivery of departmental financial targets.* Ensure compliance at all time with all Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and other regulations, policies and procedures.You will have and be:* Strong financial understanding and demonstrable budgeting management.* Able to lead by example, train and develop your team and have great people management skills.* Strong organisation skills and commercial awareness - seeing beyond the obvious and being resourceful by seizing opportunities and solving problems.* Industry acumen and knowledge of external catering development & innovations.* An excellent team player, able to communicate at all levels and commit to sharing your knowledge and skills.* Full of personality and energy with excellent communication skills.The full terms of our GDPR Talent Placement privacy notice are available to view on our website. https://privacy-policy/
