Job Description

BuyerOffice based roleLocation: HullSalary: up to £27k (dependant on experience)Hours: Mon-FriGrafton Recruitment are looking for an experienced Buyer in the Brandesburton area, working for a successful, busy manufacturing company who are looking to expand their team.As a Buyer you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Implement cost saving strategies across the category
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders
  • Ensure materials are bought on time and on target cost for both factory & site.
  • Schedule material requisitions based on production forecasts, material substitutions, storage and handling facilities, and maintenance requirements.
  • Processing delivery notes
  • Preparation and analysis of data
You will need:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Purchasing & Supply
  • Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and email.
