Contract Business Analyst 3 month contract Hull £300 per day outside IR35 Contract Business Analyst required by a growing technology company based in Hull, this position will be working closely with the product team to help them with the next phase of their growth and client offering.This is an initial 3-month contract but there is a possible extension available for the right candidate and the business is constantly growing so this is a real possibility.Core ResponsibilitiesTo provide technical systems and software support for modification, implementation, or conversion of business systems.Supports the process of translating business needs into formal Business Requirements deliverables.Acts as liaison between business unit and software, hardware developers and vendors.Conducts workshops with the Brand Partner face to face or over the phone for consulting and issue resolutionPrepares functional specification for the project by working with the Brand Partner either at onsite or offsite as neededWork with the Brand Partner on their test plans and executionParticipates in design, development and implementation of complex applications or systems, often using new technologies.Serves as a fully seasoned, proficient technical resource.Participates as an individual contributor on projects, completing activities as a part of a team related to special initiatives or operations.Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities, typically as an individual contributor.Evaluates Brand Partners test cases and conditioned test data and compare to the requirementsAssists PO in developing user stories and associated acceptance criteriaActs as the bridge from business to technical build /communications to ensure business requirements can be met with proper solution/system being implementedHelps the testing team to ensure alignment with the user acceptance testing protocolsParticipates with the Brand Partner during Testing; performs initial validation of errors, and triage/troubleshoot any issues foundUndertakes Defect Management and proactive identification of risks to the PO/Brand PartnerSupport Product Owner with technical impacts to business needsAssist with story splitting as neededModel the "as is" and "to be" business processesResponsible for story and backlog grooming with client and/or POHow to Apply If you are open to hearing more about this contract role you can apply via the link below.
