Job Description

Position: Block ManagerSalary: £27,000 - £33,000 per annum plus car allowanceWorking Arrangement: Hybrid working - Office in HullQualification Required: IRPM (Institute of Residential Property Management)Are you a skilled and driven professional in property management, looking for a new and exciting opportunity We are looking for candidates for a leading property management company based in Hull.About the Client:The client is a reputable property management company known for its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. With a portfolio of diverse properties across, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality services that enhance the living experiencefor residents and property owners.Responsibilities:As a Block Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing a portfolio of residential properties in Hull
  • Liaising with property owners, residents, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolve any issues.
  • Overseeing property maintenance, repairs, and renovations in collaboration with contractors and service providers.
  • Preparing budgets, financial reports, and managing service charge accounts.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant property management regulations and industry standards.
  • Conducting regular property inspections and addressing health and safety concerns promptly.
  • Attending meetings, both virtual and in-person, to discuss property management matters and share updates with stakeholders.
  • Implementing effective property management strategies to enhance property values and resident satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record in property management, preferably with a focus on residential properties.
  • The Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with residents, property owners, and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid drivers license, as well as the ability to travel in Hull / Surrounding areas
