Job Description

Assistant Commercial AccountantHull£20,000 - £30,000 (Depending on experience) Chase & Holland are proud to be partnering an innovative, forward-thinking FMCG business based in Hull to recruit an Assistant Commercial Accountant for an initial 6 month contract. This is an exciting role in a progressive business who is seeing sustainedgrowth over recent years. The successful candidate will support the Commercial Accountant to provide in depth analysis and reports on sales related data including sales and margin reports. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Check and process the raw material budgets
  • Process sales orders and costings onto the system
  • Review and analyse profitability of stock
  • Complete stock write off and stock at risk reports
  • Produce reports in relation to sales and margin performance
  • Assist with the gross margin reports
  • Support with the analysis and interrogation of actuals v budgets and forecasts
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well with people at all levels
  • Passion to learn and develop with a business
  • Continuous improvement mentality who strives to make a difference
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP systems
