Job Description

Are you an experienced sales professional looking for a new challengeDo you have experience working with Caravans/holiday homesThen this might be the job for you!One of clients are currently recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to cover their East England region. This role is remote but will require you to travel around the East from Newcastle to Lincoln. Being based in the Humberside area would give you great access.Company car is provided and all hotels/food will be covered.Salary is £30k with an OTE up to £70k. Working Monday to Friday. This role is office based.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for a specific sales territory, identifying potential customers and converting them to valued customers. Providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Planning and carrying out customer visits to a regular agreed schedule to ensure full coverage of the area.
  • Servicing all aspects of customer relationship including sales, promotions, assistance with customer after sales service, inventory checks and credit control activities.
  • Collecting and reporting market intelligence information and adhering and contributing to the company’s management information and sales database systems including submission of weekly activity reports.
  • Providing local support to the company’s response service to potential retail customer enquiries emanating from the internet, e-mail, telephone and postal enquiries.
  • The role requires highly motivated individuals, who understand that every contact with a potential customer, whether they buy or not, will impact on future sales as building the brand through word of mouth can deliver great returns. Finding the most effectiveways to sell within your territory will be up to you.
  • Attendance at public, trade and dealer/park shows including participation in and supervision of buildup and breakdown activities.
Experience required:
  • An ambitious nature with the drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Availability to stay away from home during the week.
  • Excellent at building relationships & negotiating.
  • Experience within caravan/holiday home sales.
  • Self-motivation, with the ability to work autonomously, using your time effectively and planning efficiently.
  • A passion for sales and a true advocate of our brand portfolio.
  • Great organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage your time effectively.
  • A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
  • A full clean UK driving license.
