Job Description

Workshop Engineer Vacancy located in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. This is a Days Based, Mechanical Engineer, position Building and Servicing mechanical equipment.Client DetailsI am now working with a manufacturing business based in Huddersfield who are looking to recruit a Days Based, hands on, Mechanical Workshop Engineer responsible for Building, Testing and Servicing equipment. Located in West Yorkshire my client design, buildand supply a range of equipment used within the leisure industry including ride on buggies. This position would be ideal for mechanical service engineers looking to be closer to home or candidates who have a background within MOT Testing, Mechanical Maintenanceor Bench Engineering.DescriptionAs the new Mechanical Workshop Engineer, you will be working daily at the Huddersfield site alongside other engineers responsible for Building, Testing and Servicing equipment. This is a new vacancy within the business due to increased service orders andwill be a long term, permanent position.Key Duties

  • Servicing, building, and testing new and exciting products ready for dispatch.
  • Responsible for assisting the workshop manager with quality, stock control, processing, packing, and dispatching.
  • Fault-finding on a range of components including gear boxes.
  • testing customer systems which include standard and bespoke products.
  • Fault finding the final product prior to dispatch.
  • Managing stock in the warehouse and reconciling stock takes.
  • Preparing, packing, and dispatching sales orders.
ProfileTo apply for this Mechanical Workshop Engineer position located in Huddersfield you will have a mechanical engineering or service engineering background with the ability to Build, Test and Serve mechanical equipment.
