Transport AssistantSalary: £10.50 - £11.50 DOEHours: Part Time Hours, 08:00 - 17:00, Thursday and FridayLocation: Huddersfield, West YorkshirePermanent RoleOur client is offering a great opportunity to grow and develop both personally and professionally, becoming an important cog within the wider business. The successful candidate will join a fast paced and dynamic transport department in the waste industry, andhave the opportunity learn from a well established team and business.The Key duties of the Transport Assistant· To support the transport team with site health and safety, near miss reporting and accident risk management.· To assist the transport dept and logistics planner, with the planning of the routes/vehicles.· To develop an understanding of route planning and keep the effective management of customer expectations and business SLAs.· Organisation of driver load sheets and legislative paperwork from internal systems.· Checking job completions, driver debriefing and route sign off on all completed jobs.· Book all vehicles into customer sites to minimise failed collections.The Key requirements of the Transport Assistant· Experience within Waste Management beneficialThe Company and the Benefits· Free parking· Profit share bonus incentive· Work for a forward thinking, environmentally friendly company.If you are interested in the role, and want to know more, please apply or call Aiden in the Office team on , option 3 for more information.
