Job Description

Reporting to the Planning Manager in a busy and fast paced office environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for order taking and supporting the planning processes required by the business to ensure fuel deliveries are made on time. This isa Monday to Friday role with hours between 9:30am and 17:00pm.Client DetailsOur client is a Global, Transport and Distribution business with multiple sectors within their business including Liquids, Chemicals, Food and Aviation. Based near Huddersfield and going through growth plans, we are currently looking for a Transport Administrator.Description

  • Enter order details into the SAP Portal and generate confirmation emails to customers confirming delivery date, delivery site etc.
  • Ensure deliveries are compatible with the driver and / or equipment at all times and that any special requests from sites or in the diary are adhered to
  • Support the planning of available resources in the most safe and efficient manner in order to meet customer service requirements, maximising resource utilisation and load size, whilst ensuring all regulations and standards are met
  • Support the Planner to maintain inventory through stock reports to ensure the allocated minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained at the customer site
  • Assist in the implementation of the scheduled plan through liaising closely with the control team throughout the shift so any issues can be addressed as soon as possible, re planning as appropriate
  • Proactively liaise with customers to maintain excellent delivery and customer service
ProfileThe successful candidate will live within a commutable distance to Huddersfield and hold the following attributes:
  • Previous experience with Logistics/Transport
  • Good Customer Service Skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
