The Role: T&C Supervisor Location: Edinburgh or Huddersfield Hybrid Working: 3 days working in the office (Edinburgh, South Gyle/ Huddersfield Town Centre) Sandringham Financial Partners (now part of M&G Wealth) is one of the UKs fastest-growing and market-leading providers of tailored independent financial advice. Everything we do is designed to deliver the best outcomes for our Financial Advisers and theirpersonal or corporate clients. All of our Advising Partners across the UK are professionally qualified to provide expert financial advice on investments, pensions, mortgages, protection and estate planning. Our advisers are supported by a team of qualified technical specialists and expertinvestment managers, as well as the very latest leading-edge technology. We are looking to appoint a T&C Supervisor to support our T&C team, who help support 190+ advising partners within the Sandringham Financial Partners network. You will be doing this by communicating with our advising Partners by conducting 121s, deliveringkey messages at monthly training events, delivering training on the monthly induction course and liaising with various stakeholders within the business. Our T&C team provides a supportive environment for the successful candidate to expand their potential, with many career opportunities and projects to get involved as we expand even further under our parent company, M&G Wealth. This role is well suited to a diploma qualified professional who has previous experience within T&C, or who has an advising background from giving advice or working with Advisers in another capacity. Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing various areas of the business for areas of risk or trends.
  • Deliver coaching and feedback to encourage and instil the right behaviours amongst our advising Partners
  • Developing strategies within the T&C team and wider Sandringham workforce to mitigate risks within the business.
  • Completing quarterly 121s with our advising Partners, giving them an idea of where they stand in terms of Certification under SM&CR.
  • Deliver Training on the Monthly Induction course.
  • Design and delivery of new Internal content on our Sandringham Academy system.
  • Presenting/Delivery of key messages at monthly training events around the UK or online via webinar.
  • Providing ongoing support to advisers as and when necessary, via telephone/email/Zoom/Teams.
  • Answering regulatory queries on areas such as financial planning, technical, product and T&C related queries.
  • Liaising with stakeholders within the business (other areas of compliance and other departments within Sandringham).
Skills & Experience
  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning qualified or will achieve the Level 4 Diploma within 6-12 months.
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to enhancing team performance
  • Adaptive and diplomatic in challenging situations and conversations
  • Knowledge of SM&CR
  • The ability to be flexible in responding to the needs of the business
  • Confident in using your own initiative as well as working from the instruction of others
  • The ability to be flexible in responding to the needs of the business
  • Technical knowledge across pensions, investments, trusts would be an advantage
  • Experience within Later Life products would be an advantage.
  • Some travel within the UK will be required at times.
