Job Description

Technical Business Analyst | £45,000 - £50,000 | EdTech | RemoteWe are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our client’s award-winning EdTech company to take charge of and direct the requirements gathering and management process for both new and current applications.Your primary duty will be to translate the initial product management input into a well-managed pipeline of fully developed user stories while ensuring that the business and technical viewpoints are acknowledged, valued, and acknowledged. Key responsibilities:

  • Complete the whole lifecycle of a business analysis, including requirements elicitation, planning and monitoring, scope definition, and needs analysis. This includes supporting quality assurance initiatives.
  • Establish a rapport with the engineering team and other relevant parties, and use this to establish a common understanding of the issues being resolved.
  • Oversee the process of identifying potential alternatives and choosing the best one in light of opportunities and limitations related to business and technology.
  • Work with customers, engineers, quality assurance, sales staff, and other internal or external stakeholders to develop the initial product management input into detailed user stories.
  • Assist in developing acceptance criteria, facilitating the UAT process, and other QA-related tasks.

  • A keen eye for detail and the capacity to recognise edge-case situations.
  • Proven, extensive expertise working in a software development setting.
  • Prior experience in a related position working on intricate, data-driven systems is advantageous.
  • Product knowledge and user demands connected to BI are advantageous.
