Our client are working in exclusive partnership with Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain to recruit a Supply Chain Planning Manager to be part growing multi-national infrastructure operations with distribution operations across the world.As a leading manufacturer and distributor with a renowned reputation on quality, their extensive stock can be quickly enhanced to meet specific customer requirements. As they have readily available products the across heir network the Supply Chain PlanningManager will work with a high degree of supply chain intelligence to co-ordinate with all operations and suppliers to meet customer expectations. Were looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will manage the end to end Planning & Inventory strategy, formulating supply chain plans across demand, inventory and supply management strategy.Reporting into the Director, you will become part of the team, understand the product and supply chain then move into the management of people. From here you will translate the demand signals into feasible, optimised and reliable short and long-term supply plans that meet customer needs and inventory targets while always ensuring inventory health and integrity.Collaboration is key, and youll work cross functionally to review, improve and execute the inventory strategy. Additionally, you will drive development of business processes, tools and analytics to support and improve production and inventory planning activities.Duties:* Own the function with a team of supply chain professionals to build the supply chain service that delivers the OTD target to global customers.* Take overall responsibility for demand forecast working with commercial teams.* Take overall responsibility for supply planning and deliver schedules.* Review and ensure the weekly planning process to adhered to* Lead inventory optimisation projects.* Drive inventory management process.* Define inventory targets.* Shape the Supply and Demand Planning strategies, capabilities and processes that aim to improve operational performance and meet high service levels* Identify opportunities to reduce slow moving and obsolete stock* Drive the rapid turn-around of blocked stock investigation and agreement and execution of clear action plans* Lead, motivate and coach the team to deliver consistently high performance, achieve their KPIs and meet their training and development needs* Play a key role in product life cycle management and S&OP processExperience, Knowledge and Skills:* Be a progressive Supply Chain Professional* Have experience in supply, demand or inventory planning management* Ideally have experience in S&OP, IBP, demand forecasting, inventory optimisation and supply planning* Good communication and interpersonal skills* Previous wholesale, Retail, Distribution, Manufacturing and/ or Import/Export experience in industry.* Strong analytical skills.* Ideally a BA/BS degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent practical experience.Whats on offer:* £40,000 - £42,000* Car Allowance / Car* Bonus* Pension* Holiday* Huddersfield based role with requirements to visit international sites and suppliers.Commute from Halifax, Oldham, Stockport, Brighouse, Barnsley, Cleckheaton Dewsbury, Leeds, Morley, Todmorden, Heckmondwicke, Hebden Bridge, Meltham, Holmfirth, Elland, Penistone, Oldham.If you want to discuss this position in more detail, please contact Carl Walker at Elevation Recruitment Group.Elevation Recruitment Groups Procurement and Supply Chain division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
