Small Claims Portal Fee Earner HuddersfieldSalary - £21,000 My client, a newly established law firm based in Huddersfield are recruiting a Small Claims Portal Fee Earner to join their Road Traffic Accident team.You will be responsible for the handling of a caseload of personal injury claims being conducted within the new Official Injury Online (OIC) Portal. You will deal with personal injury claims from inception to settlement or litigation. The role will involve the obtaining, reviewing and valuing of medical evidence along with the collation of financial losses and any supporting documentary evidence.The Small Claims Portal Fee Earner will pro-actively manage their caseload whilst providing a high quality and professional level of customer service. Responsibilities;*Provide expert advice to our clients and industry leading levels of customer care.*Have a high level of quality and attention to detail.*Pro-actively manage a caseload.*Able to competently handle claims within the OIC Portal.*Accurately assess and value personal injury claims, including general and special damages, ensuring the right outcome is obtained for our clients. *Drafting schedules of financial losses. *Obtain and review medical evidence.*Submit offers to settle within the OIC Portal. *Settle claims within the OIC Portal.*Confident negotiator*Meet realistic commercial expectations*Delivering guidance and support to other colleagues within the operation. *To support the Claims Assistant Team, as and when required, with their daily responsibilities including incoming new claim enquiries.
