Job Description

Service & Scheduling ManagerSalary: £35,000 to £40,000 per annumOverview:Our client is an established manufacturer/distributor and they are recruiting for a highly experienced Services Manager based in Huddersfield. The main purpose of this role is to improve the standards of the services department. The successful candidatewill bring a wealth of experience with them and a desire to create an industry leading department.Key Responsibilities:Initial evaluation of the current team, identifying areas of strength and weakness with a view to creating a strong, multi-disciplined team.Lead in all areas of the service team covering,

  • Transportation (scheduling, documentation, courier management and customs regulations)
  • Installations (scheduling, risk assessments, RAMS, customer satisfaction)
  • Management of service/installation engineers.
  • Service desk (including out of hours cover)
  • Technical Support
  • Administration of cases and complaints
Develop and achieve relevant KPIs for each area within each sub-departmentDevelopment of SLAs for both internal and external partnersManagement and mentorship of staff, identifying training requirementsFocus on cost saving and efficiency, identifying areas of inefficiency or excess cost and propose solutions to resolve.Identify, propose, and implement change to improve current business state.The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism and confidence to lead an exceptional customer services experienceSkills and Qualifications:Essential : Service experience at Supervisor level or above with excellent communication skills and leadership experience to manage a variety of disciplines.Autonomous problem solverAnalytical in approachAdvocate for delivering an exceptional customer experienceProficient in use of Microsoft IT packages and CRM databasesAmbitious personality prepared to disrupt the department.Desirable : Experience in exporting advantageousILM Level 4 in Leadership & Management
