Senior Fee EarnerHuddersfieldSalary £28,000+Hybrid Working A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Fee Earner to join a new personal injury law firm. You will be responsible for handling a caseload of Non Portal Fast Track and complex Portal claims, including Portal claims that proceed to litigation. You will have extensive knowledge of dealing with personal injury claims where liability and/or quantum are disputed. The role will involve dealing with these claims through the pre and post litigation process. Previous litigation experience is necessary.The Senior Fee Earner will pro-actively manage their caseload whilst providing a high quality and professional level of customer service. Responsibilities:*Deal with a caseload of Non Portal Fast Track and complex Portal claims from liability decision to settlement. *Accurately value personal injury claims for general and special damages.*Competently handle claims through all aspects of the claims process including Part 7 and Part 8 litigation through to Trial. *Be able to deal with court applications, witness statements, comply with Court directions, draft instructions to Counsel along with preparing Court Trial bundles. *Have a clear understanding of the processing of low value volume personal injury claims both Pre and Post Civil Liability Act.*Have a high level of quality and attention to detail.*Can identify litigation opportunities*Confident negotiator*Pro-actively manage a caseload*Meet realistic commercial expectations*Deliver guidance and support to colleagues within the operationCandidate Qualifications & Experience:*Minimum of 2 years experience of handling litigated P7/8 personal injury claims is essential*Experience of working with Eclipse Proclaim Management Software*Previous experience of working within a fast-paced Personal Injury law firm is essential*Previous experience and knowledge of the RTA Portal and Protocols*Experience of dealing with Fast Track claims*The ability to work well under pressure and towards tight deadlines*Strong organisational skills*Highly numerate*Ability to work to a high level of accuracy with an eye for detail*Good communication and customer service skills*The ability to communicate professionally at all levels within the firm*Good time keeper*A good team player, but also the ability to work on own initiativeCLD Recruitment (Leeds) Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
