Job Description

Role: Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk (Part Time)Location: Huddersfield (Office based)Salary: £10.77 - £11.29 per hourHours: 9am - 5pm (Wed/Thur/Fri)Contract: PermanentBenefits: Free onsite parkingAre you looking to support a wonderful family run business with Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger and Administration duties on a permanent basis If youre looking for friendly and bubbly office, the occasional appearance of an office dog and weekly chocolate treats gets you going, then apply now!Based on the outskirts of Huddersfield, our client is looking for your help. While the role is busy - you will be dealing with Proof of Deliveries, Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger, you will be welcomed quickly and warmly into a team that has spent 100 years putting their staff first.So, whether its a cold drink on a hot day or being told to step away from your desk and get some air, this company works hard to keep the family feel alive but in a very modern way. This is a part time role working 3 days per week however our client is really looking for someone who can be flexible and potentially cover team absences too!Duties:

  • Match Invoices to POs
  • Dealing with proof of delivery
  • Sales ledger duties for the business
  • Purchase ledger
  • Dealing with queries and issues
  • Input Invoices onto QuickBooks
  • General finance duties
  • Ad-hoc duties when needed
  • Experience:
  • Experience in Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger
  • Proficient on Excel and Word
  • Experience on QuickBooks would be advantageous
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent team player
  • Be driven and enthusiastic
