Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and talented Roof Truss Designer to join our team at Pasquill, Huddersfield. At Pasquill were working hard to develop our people, culture and our business as we continually strive to be a great place to work!Pasquill is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and the largest supplier of engineered timber for roofs and floors in the UK. We value our business, customers and our employees greatly.Responsibilities:

  • Manage a customer portfolio and produce quotations, following the Pasquill Six Step Enquiry and Quote Process
  • Produce high quality designs for customers within given timescales
  • Build good relationships with customers; make them feel valued
  • Identify actions to improve conversion rate of quotations
  • Identify opportunities to maximise sales opportunities by asking for add on sales
  • Make pre and post quote telephone calls to customers
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous sales and Roof Truss Design experience in engineered timber (mandatory)
  • Design software experience such as Mitek/Pamir (preferred)
  • Understanding of building regulations and relevant legislation (preferred)
  • High level of education (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good questioning and listening skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
