Job Description

Are you an experienced Registered Manager with an impressive history of successfully running a care centre If you are looking for a new opportunity to further develop a new care centre, the join and lead the team at Castleholme Lodge in Huddersfield.As the Registered Manager, you will lead and manage a diverse multi-disciplinary workforce, ensuring excellent care is delivered and operational performance is maintained, while ensuring quality and financial targets are met.Situated in Huddersfield with excellent transport links to the surrounding area, Castleholme Lodge is undergoing a complete refurbishment to ensure best environment for service users and staff to thrive in. Castleholme Lodge will be a 20 bed Care home withnursing, providing a range of mental health services for adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. It will form part of a cluster of Elysium services across the Yorkshire and Midlands region that work closely together in support of each other.This Registered Manager role involves:

  • Overall leadership and management responsibility of the Care Home and the multi-disciplinary teams. Be responsible for the delivery of excellent care and operational performance, whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers andreferrers.
  • Ensuring both quality and financial targets are met, and facilitating the development of quality healthcare services, ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of purchasers and service users, and reflect market trends and evidence-based practice.
  • As a member of the senior management team, you will contribute to the strategic development of the Care home, ensuring adherence to the Care Homes objectives and Business Plan.
  • Promoting and enhancing the Care Homes reputation for excellent care and service.
To be successful as a Registered Manager, you will need:
  • An excellent track record in a management role within the healthcare sector (essential), together with an understanding of mental health issues and a passion for improving clinical quality and patient care.
  • Strong commercial acumen to support successful service delivery and development, people management, budget control, business development, and revenue generation.
  • An inclusive and supportive management style balanced with strong leadership is a critical factor in the success of this role to provide direction and implement change.
  • A relevant nursing qualification (Mental Health, Learning Disability Nursing)
  • NMC registration
