Focusing on our Specimen Management Solutions, including the BD Vacutainer range,you will be responsible for selling a range of solutions including products, equipment and services across the NHS and Pathology Networks. You will also be responsible for working closely with Managed Service Providers in your territory.Territory: M62 CorridorJob DescriptionCompetitive salary + 35% OTE (uncapped), Company Car + strong benefits packageReporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for M62 Corridor territory and have the following key accountabilities:

  • To achieve the annually agreed sales objectives and growth within the region
  • To drive growth through the use of the BD Way of Selling by incorporating Customer Centricity and Salesforce . com into daily activities.
  • To develop, monitor and drive account plans and the sales strategy across the region
  • Developing strategic partnerships as NHSI Pathology networks develop
  • Work closely with senior leaders and partners within the territory up to and including C-suite.
  • Manage complex multi-account agreements.
  • To provide pre and post-conversion support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with clinical, marketing and other BD colleagues
  • Develop a strong knowledge of our Diagnostic portfolio to position a total end-to-end diagnostic solution.
  • To perform a continual review of metrics, sales data and build in insights to recommend and make appropriate market changes to drive product growth
  • To successfully plan and convert specimen management opportunities.

  • Pathology directors
  • Line Managers within pathology laboratories
  • Biomedical Scientists
  • Biomedical Support Workers
  • Phlebotomists
  • Infection control specialists
  • Occupation health specialists
  • Procurement

  • NHSi Transformation leads
About youComing from a life science background (ideally in blood sciences/microbiology) and/or previous healthcare sales experience in medical/laboratory equipment, consumables & devices, you will have a strong knowledge of the NHS and Pathology market. You willhave a hunger and drive to develop new business as well as the ability to maintain long term relationships with key accounts. The successful applicant will demonstrate the following key competencies:

  • Ability to manage multi-complex opportunities simultaneously
