Job Description

The Quality Supervisor will be in charge of the quality department across tufting, backcoating, shearing, dyeing, cutting and printing of textiles.Client DetailsThe client is a successful textile manufacturer based in Huddersfield.DescriptionThe Quality Supervisor will be responsible for:

  • Monitor and advise on how the quality management system is performing, and to publish data and reports regarding the companys performance against set indicators
  • First contact person internally for Quality Control issues in all international warehouses
  • Set up and implement aligned quality control process and manuals in all warehouses
  • Manage 3rd party inspection relationships to ensure all inspections and testing protocols
  • Investigate customer-facing quality issues and returns to identify the root cause and implement short and long-term improvement plans to drive results
  • Where appropriate, advise on changes and their implementation and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality
  • Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Ensure product expectations are met throughout all stages, from fabric development to garment production and delivery standardsteams
  • Create the risk assessment documents, ensuring that all teams and suppliers are aware of potential issues with action plans set
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and that QC requirements are accurately predicted, managed and measured
