Job Description

Brewster Partners are working with an established business in Huddersfield to recruit an experience Quality & Compliance Controller on a permanent basis. The successful person will be responsible for ensuring that all quality and compliance standards are adhered to in accordance with internal and customer requirements. We are specifically looking for someone with QC experience gained from within the print / gift packaging / card industry.THE COMPANY:

  • Established manufacturing business based in Huddersfield.
  • Operates within the gift wrap & print industry.
    • THE JOB:
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain information required for the technical prodcut specifications including FQC reports, MSDS, product test reports and details of raw material source.
  • Review products to advise any product safety testing and arrange 3rd party testing as required.
  • Create and update an audit tracker to ensure all factory audits are completed on schedule.
  • Manage the company FSC certification.
  • Create a quality control schedule for each product and arrange QC checks to be carried out.
    • THE PERSON:
  • We are looking for someone with experience within the print / gift packaging / card industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in quality control and/or a supplier assessment role.
  • Previous experience of dealing with major UK retailers is essential.
  • There may be times when you will need to visit another site so a full driving licence and vehicle is essential.
